Injection therapy

The ankle and foot are susceptible to multiple injuries and inflammatory conditions that are amenable to diagnostic and therapeutic injection.

The London Podiatry Centre specialises in advanced ultrasound guided injection therapy.  Examples include; diagnostic injections, long acting pain relief injections,  Bupivacaine (local anaesthetic) injections, hyaluronic acid injections and Depo-Medrone (corticosteroid) injections.   Injection therapy can be extremely effective at resolving or reducing pain and the chances of a long term response are much improved if disorders in gait are treated in conjunction with this approach.
