Radial Shockwave Therapy

Radial Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave heel 2

The evidence base for radial shock wave treatment in a range of conditions is becoming stronger and there are now many medical research papers which support this treatment approach for conditions such as plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendonitis.  The London Podiatry Centre  offers courses of radial shockwave therapy for a number of different conditions.

Shockwave therapy is much more likely to be successful if any underlying abnormalities in gait have been addressed and the treatment may be offered after biomechanical assessment and gait analysis.  Please see the leaflets attached to this page for further information.
